Staffordshire University

Staffordshire University grows people who think and act for themselves. When we were founded in 1914, we set out to be modern, relevant and vocationally inspired and we still do. Back then we challenged and pushed the mining and ceramics industries forward - now it's anything from Computer Games Design to Forensic Science. What hasn't changed is our vision and values; it's just how we do things.

The university aims to open minds, break boundaries and is oriented towards transforming people and communities by delivering accessible, high-quality, higher education through partnership. We have an excellent reputation for long established partnerships and are keen to grow these even further locally, nationally and internationally.

We have invested more than £40m in transforming the campus, making the University Quarter a truly inspiring place to live and study and intend to continue with plans for turning their satellite campuses into centres of excellence in health, education and nursing and midwifery. The University is situated at the heart of the UK and their core activity is centred in Stoke-on-Trent, with further presences in Stafford, Shrewsbury and Lichfield.
